Hello, This Chironominae was photographed on March 24, 2025, in the Pyrénées-Orientales (France), at an altitude of 50 m, on the edge of a wooded pond. Is it possible to confirm the tribe, or even to determine the genus or the species? ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Villelongue-Dels-Monts : 66740 : 22/03/2025 Altitude : 42 m - Taille : 4 mm environ Réf. : 356221 ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Villelongue-Dels-Monts : 66740 : 22/03/2025 Altitude : 42 m - Taille : 4 mm environ Réf. : 356223 ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Villelongue-Dels-Monts : 66740 : 22/03/2025 Altitude : 42 m - Taille : 4 mm environ Réf. : 356224 Edited by DedeLab on 22-10-2025 19:13 André LABETAA |

I would agree this is Tanytarsini, but as it's a female with no particularly striking features, I cannot suggest a more detailed identification
