Hello, This Chloropidae was photographed in Plaine du Roussilon (Pyrénées-Orientales, France) on February 22, 2025, altitude 70 m. It has the following characteristics: - costal vein barely extending beyond r4+5 --> subfamily Chloropinae - femurs 3 not thickened, ocellar triangle not elongated and bare, forehead not prominent --> genus Thaumatomyia - black spot of the occiput not reaching the eyes, narrow genes --> Thaumatomyia notata In addition, it has a flat scutellum and crossed apical scutellar setae. Is it possible to confirm Thaumatomyia notata? ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Canohès : 66680 : 23/02/2025 Altitude : 58 m - Taille : 2,5 à 3 mm Réf. : 354683 ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Canohès : 66680 : 23/02/2025 Altitude : 58 m - Taille : 2,5 à 3 mm Réf. : 354684 ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Canohès : 66680 : 23/02/2025 Altitude : 58 m - Taille : 2,5 à 3 mm Réf. : 354685 André LABETAA |
