It looks like tribe Siphonini. Several species of Actia have bristles along vein Cu. I don't know if other European genera do. |

Inspired by your observation and Theo's comment, I've reviewed my Actia lamia images from the last 5 years and found 3 different ones: lamia, pilipennis and infantula. Based on this I think your fly could be a male Actia pilipennis (I cannot see if it has the 4 postsutural dcs): 3rd antennal segment relativly thick, "at the anterior edge of the tergites with only a very narrow band of dusting which is interrupted in the middle" T&H + Rayner & Raper Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |
