Oecothea fenestralis or praecox? I have cca 30 specimens from one cave at Bohemian karst (Czechia). Sorry for quality of picture (phone on microscope ocular).

i would say praecox. I regularly collect specimens with this large cheeks in caves. Unfortunately i have never been able to see fenestralis, so i can never rule it out for sure. Hopefully Dr A. J. Woznica will give us confirmation. regards mats |

Thanks Mats. I think praecox too. I sometimes catch O. fenestralis at undergroud space, but only individually and more often in cellars and mines. I am attaching a photo from cellar at Western Bohemia, I believe, that it is O. fenestralis.
