Hello, I photographed this fly in Peschio Croce (AQ), Italy, 1460m a.s.l. on October 27th 2024. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species based on these photos? The proclinate orbital bristles are characteristic for Ceracia mucronifera, that that's what it is. All Acemyiini are parasitoids of grasshoppers ... Theo |
