Hello,
This one is from French Guiana
Is a confirmation for Acrosticta apicalis (Ulidiinae, Lipsanini tribe) seems possible here ?
Size is 4 mm long (small).

An Acrosticta, indeed. The problem is that the widespread and commonest A. apicalis (which has yellow fore femur), must have black fore basitarsus (here it looks to be yellow). I know it is difficult, but please a) check the fore basitarsus and b ) dry it slightly(not more than 10 min) from alcohol and take a picture of its frons sculpture. It can be a clue.

Thank you for your help. And really the commentary about the basitarsis is to take into account. Unfortunately, the specimen has vanished ! I have some pictures live of probably the same species.
