Hi all.
All summer long this year in NW Spain I've been seeing this flies. I believe they are in the genus Rhagio, but I haven't been able to match them to any of the species present here.

Spanish Rhagio are still a mess. This is notatus-ish

I see, thanks a lot! I did compare it to R. notatus, but the ones here have a lighter pterostigma, are more slender and the abdominal markings are somewhat different. If you (or anyone) were interested in this specimen or more from this group let me know!
