Anthomyiidae. But which one. They arde difficult. Found it in the greenhouse. On a leaf with some honey (often works well) took it outside for a photo. October 13, Netherlands, Bergen, North Holland. I'll leave it as Anthomyiidae. I think a name is not possible. Regards, Thijs http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm |

I did indeed think of Botanophila. They are difficult to identify for a non-specialist. I had one in 2012 on ragwort. I sent the larvae to Joke van Erkelens, who bred them. They turned out to be Botanophila seneciella. I still have ragwort and I still see the larvae regularly. But of course that says nothing about this fly. In Dutch on the Waarneming forum: https://forum.waa...c=196423.0 Here on my website http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm (Also with a Botanophila cf. fugax) Thanks Eric and greetings Thijs Edited by thijsdegraaf on 29-10-2024 10:33 http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm |
