Hello,
this small fly was found on 30 May 2024 in a northern part of Hannover, Germany. Could it be a female Trixoscelis canescens?

Thank you for an answer!
Hans

It does not look like there is a dark border along the front margin of the wing so more likely frontalis or similis

Paul is right! The females of T. similis have the wing membrane rather transparent with pale yellow costal vein, and very small cheeks. So the ID as T. cf. frontalis is the best solution,

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
