Hello,

Can someone help me with this small Brachycera? It was feeding on ivy (Hedera helix) flowers. Maybe about 1.5–2.0 mm in size.
Northern Germany, Hildesheim, 30.08.2024

Thank you in advance,
Stephan

Agromyzidae. Ask Miloš Černý for possible specification.

Agromyzidae, Agromyzinae, Melanagromyza Hendel, 1920 spec., female; black halter, slight metallic sheen, rounded anterior end of gena without a slight vibrissal angle. Well to be seen in the 2nd image is one posterolateral mid tibial seta present in many genera of both subfamilies of leaf miner flies.
