Hello, caught in Hungary, in a mountainous area. 1 substigmatical pointed upwards, 1 downwards, and other features also matches with Graphogaster vestita. But abdominal pattern looks different than in most of the pictures of G. vestita, so I’m not quite sure. And there isn’t a complete row of discals on tergite 4, rather 2 discals and some marginals. Could you help me please? I know that its a quite difficult genus.. varganimrod attached the following image: [71.9Kb] Edited by varganimrod on 17-08-2024 12:12 |

Your specimen is darker than any other male G. vestita I have seen. But otherwise, it seems OK and there are no alternatives Theo |
