Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Halstenbek near Hamburg, area of tree nursery, edge of an uncultivated field at a flower of Achillea millefolium; 18th of July 2024 (Outside photos: Kuv).
Searching in the Diptera Gallery I think it could be a female of Ectophasia leucoptera. Is that right? Please help to get the ID.
Greeting Kuv

Hi Kuv, I think it's a female Ectophasia crassipennis.
According to Ceretti (2010): I tachinidi della fauna italiana, E. leucoptera's wing is nearly completely hyaline and the bend of M is a right angle - not bowed like E. crassipennis.

EDIT: to exclude E. oblonga we need a sharp lateral view of the tip of the abdomen:
sternite 7 bent forwards in E. crassipennis, backwards in E. oblonga

Hi Eric TumbsUp,
thank you very much for help. As I have no better picture of the tip of abdomen it must remain "Ectophasia cf. crassipennis".
