Hello, I photographed this fly on the seashore in Balaclava, Mauritius, on April 21st 2024. I think it is an Ephydridae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos? This is a species of Hecamede. As far as I am aware, the only Hecamede recorded from Mauritius is H. granifera.
