Hello to the community!
I'm interested by the family Muscidae. That's why I'm looking for keys which are valid for Belgium. There is the Manual of central European Muscidae. It's a very expensive book. So I prefer to know if this book fit this purpose before purchase it! Thank you in advance for your help !

Yes it is expensive but is is pretty good and although it is nonminally only for central Europe, it is eminently usable for other parts of Europe. I have being using it in combination with Fonseca 1968 and some journal articles to identify flies I have caught here in southern England. Fonseca is very out of date but it can get you started. You can downlod a copy here: https://www.royen...-muscidae/

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
