Hi,

recently, I find a lot of these medium-sized flies, that I cannot really place into a famliy. It reminds me a bit of Delia radicum, but is probably something different. Is it possible to determine at least the family from the pictures?
I'm not 100% sure, if the two images show the same specimen, because there was a lot of traffic and I might have lost track.

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), shrub leaf, 12.06.2024, app.6-8 mm

Anthomyiidae. I don't know if the hairs on the hind femur are dense enough for Delia radicum.

Hi,

thank you both for the response. I think I leave that open, but at least I don't feel so stupid any more for not being able to determine the family. Smile

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
