Hello, here is a photo of a female Medetera (Dolichopodidae), taken in the east of France (Doubs, Arc-et-Senans)

Luc Bettinelli : France : Arc-et-Senans : 25610 : 18/05/2024
Altitude : 236 m - Taille : 1,5-2 mm
Réf. : 342994

I think that the specific identification would be very risky, but I note in any case the two-tone (or even multi-colored) character of the eyes, which for me resonates with this article by Marc Pollet (and in particular with the species Medetera aglaops). Do you have an opinion?

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
