 my first Tachinidae of the year

hello, I have found this tachinidae in my garden near brest (france) the 17 02 2008. size about 6/8mm. in our french forum, st?phane said Macquartia sp but he is not sure. thanks for ID jean-claude jean-claude bernard attached the following image:  [176.65Kb] |

yes. it is a male Macquartia sp. |

I agree. Difficult to pinpoint a species. The earliest species is viridana, but somehow it looks different. I'll have to check Theo |
