Hello,

this 8 mm fly looked like a male Muscid on first impression, but its M-vein is bent like that of a Calliphorid. At a hedge near small brook (northwest Germany).

First impression really was Morellia, but as correctly pointed out by Juergen wing venation is off.
It seems to a dark male Protocalliphora.
