Not the best without pictures without the wing vein.. but look like some Muscidae. I tried to ID it further, where I believe it to be Phaonia.

I sadly do not have ID keys for this genus (please let me know if anyone has a good reference). The scutellum does have a very vague orange tint, but I do not know if this is enough for P. subventa.

Looks like P. subventa, but these views do not permit to be sure.

I tried to use Mike's key to get to tribe/genus, and used Steven Falks references .

Are there any characteristics I might look for, for a definite confirmation?
