All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.

My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated.

With the Theowald (1967) key your larva keys out as an Tipula (Lunatipula) lunata-group. But from question 4 it is impossible to ID it further for it all depends on the pigmentation of the ventral anal lobes which are not visible on your photos. So that leaves us with the species Tipula lunata, soosi, peliostigma, selene, fascipennis or alpina. But according to the same paper several species of the lunata-group are unknown in the larval stage.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
