Photographed very recently in a vegetable plot in Zhejiang China. Around 3mm in body length. Could it be something like Scaptomyza graminum (a cosmopolitan species)? Thanks!

This fly has clearly only two rows of acrostichal setae and its female genitalia conform to S. pallida. To be cautious, I prefer to tell "Scaptomyza cf. pallida".

I cannot exclude S. (P.) elmoi which occurs e.g. in Anhui, the province neighbouring to Zhejian.
