Hi,
Here is a male Chironomid from Františkovy Lázně (Czechia), 14 March 2014. The hairy legs, especially the feet, are striking. Does anybody know the genus or even species? Thanks for suggestions,
Sundew

I think this is Anatopynia plumipes (Tanypodinae)

That is an excellent tip, and A. plumipes is a very appropriate name! Many thanks, dear Tony, what would I do without you...
