At least there is no record from Norway in taxodros, uzh.ch
And D. limbata was recorded once, not long ago: Gammelmo, O. & Soli, G.,2011:: Notes on new interesting Diptera from Norway. Norw. J. Ent.58:189-195
Global warming?

You may be right, but there are also few people looking for Diptera in Norway. Perhaps Hirtodrosophila confusa has been here for many years... As for D. limbata, perhaps it needs to be examined under a microscope to be sure which species it is?

Broad pale strip along the midline of abdomen (narrow in related species as D. phalerata and D. kuntzei) is a good non-microscopical character of D. limbata.
