Small fly from Oman dessert (slightly irrigated), 1000m above sea level, near Salalah/Oman, about 6mm. Can ist be identified bythis only picture I have? Thank you so much, Jörg

Thank you John. I was looking at a Myrmeleontidae when the fly sat down on the same twig - but stayed only for the one shot, scared by me or the other beast? Kindest regards, Jörg
