Fortunately, the "sex combs" on the two basal joints of fore tarsi are (barely) visible. Drosophila obscura group. |

Are the species of Drosophila obscura group (believe "D. obscura/subobscura" in NL) distinguishable without genital dissection? |

Principally yes, just the photos (of forelegs, palpi, abdominal end...) should be much better. I believe that more species occur in NL (ambigua, tristis...). |
