Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on April 7th 2023. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Carcelia are very difficult. I’d say C. lucorum, much more common, or possibly dubia (male genitalia only reliable feature)
