Hello everyone,
I have collected what I think are pupae of Napomyza gymnostoma fron leak stems. I am curious to see and photograph the adults (I could not find any pictures of adults on the web)
At this point in time, they are stored in a transparent plastic box , outdoors in the shade. Do you know of any precaution I should take to make sure they make it and especially unfold their wings ? I am also worried they might dry off, as they normally seem remain iimbedded in living host plant tissues...
Thanks for suggestions
Philippe

soak some kitchen towels in water and place them with the pupa to increase the RH in the container
