I'm not sure about the genus. Looks too slender for Eupeodes. In light forest (northwest Germany).

Epistrophella euchroma (m). Unique for this one is that the front corner of the tergits has a small yellow spot.

thanks a lot! I had that species one year ago at the same location, but I did not recognize it. Seemed "broader" to me last year...
