Location: Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, Rheine, 35 m above sea level, garden Time: 30th April, 2023 Photos: Markus Koschinsky Body size: approx. 5 mm Dear Forum, this fly was inside the building. Abdomen was yellowish (doesn's show very well in the image). What could it be? 4th picture, this picture was taken few days ago (27th April 2023), and shows the ventral side. It was similar location, and (at first sight) same appearance. Although not the same individuum, could be the same species?
