Hi All

I saw this bee today and managed a couple of shot before it disappeared in the wind.

I thought it was Andrena fulva (Tawny Mining Bee) but I am leaning more towards Osmia bicornis.

Could someone take a look and let me know?

Yours

Gareth

I took a look there but I am concerned about variation.

I checked out Steven Falk's galleries and it would appear that it ia a female Andrena fulva (Tawny Mining Bee), though if anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear.

Yours, Gareth

Hello,

Andrena fulva female is correct. It's an unmistakeable species.
Best regards,
Jürgen
