Photographed very recently from east China unfortunately with only the dorsal shot. Looks somewhat like a Eupeodes species. Could Syrphini be the right tribe? Thanks in advance.

Its a Cheilosia. Not that many spp. have hind legs that are mainly yellow.

Thank you again Karsten! TumbsUp I checked the key to Chinese Chelosia species and it goes to Chelosia quinta Barkalov et Cheng 2004.

Did another check. Cheilosia yoshinoi also has all-yellow legs.
