Several of these small sphaerocerids turned up in a sample from July 2021, grazed grassland (ponies, cattle), Sussex, UK. Other species in the same sample: Leptocera nigra, Alloboborus pallifrons, Pteremis fenestralis, Coproica acutangula, Spelobia ochripes, Philocoprella quadrispina, Chaetopodella scutellaris, Ischiolepta pusila, I. denticulata, and Lotobia pallidiventris. I just can't seem to make sense of these. Can anyone shed a light on this? maico attached the following image: [50.47Kb] Edited by maico on 29-03-2023 13:18 |
