Thanks Theo! I really understand that this fly in bad condition is a tricky one. There just was a discussion about it in a swedish group where Christer Bergström and Anne-Marie Björn first also suggested Nemorilla. But when we noticed that there was three bristles on katepisterneum it ended up in Smidtia amoena instead after some discussion. I hope you don´t have any objections to this? Well objections is a big word, but I disagree. antennal shape totally excludes Smidtia. If there are three STPL (I couldnt tell), might be an aberration. **it happens Theo |

Thanks again - we leave Smidtia! Our problem with Nemorilla is also that this fly have got red scutellum and red marks (these is not so clear on my photos, but they are there) on the side of abdomen - and that this doesn´t fit to any Nemorilla-species. Maybe there is an other alternative - what do you think? Krister Edited by ebbek on 09-03-2023 10:04 |
