Any chance this can be identified to genus or species? I still have the specimen if any other shots are required besides examining genitalia as thats outside the ability of my equipment. oscarhopgood attached the following image: [180Kb] |

It seems to have long plumose aristae. I find that in winter here in Reading , UK most of these key out to a Hylemya sp. |
