2021-05-19, Badem, RLP, DE; this Tipulidae Larva was dug from my garden. Thanks for any ID Help.

The very small head capsule suggests something like Tabanidae to me.

Tabanidae for sure. Interesting find but hard to tell which genus or species. Perhaps Haematopota or Tabanus but not sure. |
