Thank you very much John, I didn't know this family and therefore not this genre. I have seen it on a Pistacia terebinthus. If it is a female, perhaps it came to lay eggs in one of the many galls of Aploneura (Aphididae)? I read that Leucopis larvae feed on aphids. But I guess it is the same diet for the larvae of all Leucopis species? Edited by Liliane D on 25-08-2022 22:36 |

Aphids are common prey. Some species eat other Sternorrhyncha. |
