In the south of France, on 8 June 2022.
The body is 22 mm long.

Using Google Lens Search Image on my Laptop came up with Dasypogon diadema [male] ...Not sure if it is right , but...

My research also led me to the male Dasypogon diadema. Our opinions converge and I think that's a good sign.
I have already photographed several females but I did not know the male yet.
