Hi, found in a small wet coastal depression on the beach. Is it possible to determinate the genus of this diptera? Best regards JP jpjepilou attached the following image: [184.14Kb] |

Coelotrypes vittatus Bezzi, 1923 (Tephritidae, Trypetinae, Adramini), apparently the most widespread member of the genus in the Afrotropics (Gabon to Madagascar to Cabo Verde). Can't tell whether it's recorded from Benin.
