I have found several times this kind of arthropod unde rthe bark of plane trees (Platanus sp.) in northern Spain.

I have no idea which it may be. I have thought of some kind of Myriapod - some kind of Polyxenida or something akin - but I have discarded it. So I am a bit puzzled.

Any help to identify it?

Thank you veru much in advance.

Hi, these are larvae of beetles: Dermestidae. Probably Anthrenus museorum.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

I agree with Dermestidae, but the situation and size of the setal tufts suggest that this is Ctesias serra rather than Anthrenus.

Thank you very much for the identification! I was completely lost.

I will be attentive to the adults, since I have never seen them.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
