Hello,
this ceratopogonide was found the 24th 03 2022 in the garden, on Euphorbia sp.
Size : 2,8 mm. Hypopygium length : about 0,2 mm.
Locality : Luçon, middle west of France.

Do you agree with the species of the headline ?

Thank you by advance.

Christian

I think it is in subgenus Dasyhelea. I don't have the experience to distinguish flavifrons from relatives.
