Picture taken in April last year, east China (Zhejiang province). It looks like Eristalini to me. Is it possible to narrow down further? Thanks in advance.

I think they belong to the genus Merodon. The is some similarity to Merodon pulveris.

It's a pair of Pseudoeristalis sp., maybe P. viridis. Nowadays the genus is often seen as a synonym of the genus Kertesziomyia.

Cool! Thank you Gerard for the ID! Yes, they look very similar to Kertesziomyia viridis (body coloration slightly differs though). TumbsUp
