Hello,

Another fly found the same day as this one in my garden. Is it the male of the same species?

And this might be the male Helina pertusa: yellow tibiae/femora - femur I predominantly dark (basally at the female), abdomen with 2 pairs of dark spots, fronto-orbitals touching... (from Manual of CE Muscidae).
Greetings, Eric

Is it a rare species? I can't find any mentions for this species in France.
Thank you very much for your answer.
