Seen on my house wall next to a compost box on a sunny day.
Is it just a Musca domestica?

Muscidae is correct, but not Musca - looks more like Phaonia but I'm not sure yet. Flies ruminate like their big friends, the cattle.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
