I think I identified this species as Rhadiurgus variabilis.
Is this correct ?

Size: 8-9mm
Collection: Near Toulouse (France) - June 22 - 2021

No, this is a species of the Neomochtherus genus-group. Somebody with more experience with robberflies of France or Spain may help better than me, although an identification might be difficult due to the condition of this specimen.
