Hi Volkmar, it's a female Eristalis - probably a E. pertinax, which should have yellow tarsi I & II.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

Supported! We cannot see the tarsi, but I have never seen a female of E. pertinax with such broad yellow tergite margins. Furthermore, E. pertinax has a longer pterostigma and darker eye hairs. Compare E. arbustorum (https://www.flick...405639174/) and E. pertinax (https://www.flick...771179127/) - there are differences!
Regards, Sundew

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
