Hello! Please could I request some assistance with this larval specimen? Keying out, tentatively, as Oplodontha. NGR (rough) TQ 69188 76755. (Apologies for poor quality images, working with a replacement Brunel zoom stereo). Thanks!

Hiya thanks very much. In the Stubbs key, the presence of ventral or lateral head tufts takes it through to Oplodontha viridula or Odontomyia angulata/hydroleon. Is what I am seeing as 'tufts' just dense setae? Much appreciated. |
