Coenosia testacea? 3mm, east London from inner city park with mature deciduous woodland, open areas of long grass and small ponds with quite a bit of marginal vegetation. 14 July 2007.

Has a little red above the antennae at the end of the frontal vitta.

Thanks St?phane. My photo doesn't do it justice, but these are very elegant and attractive tiny little flies. I assume, being Coenosia that they hunt - but what? Their prey must be miniscule.
