Germany, Baden-Württemberg, district Karlsruhe, Karlsbad-Spielberg, in a garden, ca. 8 - 10 mm, found date 04.07.2021, Gerold Franke, Syrphus ribesii? thanks

Hello,

not ribesii (hind femora partly dark). Most likely Syrphus torvus (eyes hairy?), or eventually S. vitripennis.

many thanks for the help. Since the eyes aren't hairy I guess it is Syrphus vitripennis.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
