Aedes japonicus or koreicus?->Can't be decided based on the image only

Specimen observed in Hungary, on May 20. Based on the coloration of the abdomen I would say Ae. koreicus, but it seems that the last tarsomeres of the hindlegs are completely black, which is a characteristic of the Ae. japonicus. I simply can't decide, so I ask for help from experts with more experience. Hi, it's not possible to decide based on your images. If we only look at the hindlegs it's clearly japonicus, but a good photo of the thorax is necessary to determine the species with more confidence. Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |
