Last week I was able to purchase "Suomen Kukkak?rpaset (ja h?hialuieden lajeja)". In English "Finnish hoverflies and some species in adjacent countries".
Written by Antti Haarto and Sakari Kerppola the book is mainly in Finnish. The interesting part for those not familiar with the Finnish language is the "Key to Genera and species" that is included in the book.
A more definitive review of the book is better left for those who mastered the Finnish language but on first sight it look good with information of the every species, lots of good photos and distribution maps.

I paid ?38,90 for my copy in Helsinki at the Academica bookshop.

Got mine today ... for a total of ?58:90 incl ?20 for transport Shock

The english keys with drawn illustrations seems good. I don't know any finnish so it's hard to tell how good most of the content is. The photos in general, but in particular the photos of the pinned specimens is not very good ... and too small. Far from Tony T quality Frown

Thanks Kahis! Cool
